Ubud Resort, a deluxe style resort and spa opening
late 2000 is located along the banks of Petanu River
and across from the charming historical Villages of
Bedulu and Pejeng. It is within walking distance of
the vibrant artist center of Ubud and a convenient 45
minutes drive from the International Airport.
Set in ten hectares of hillside garden, each guest room
and villa offers spectacular views over the river or
fertile rice terraces. The Villas have private gardens
separated by tropical plantings. A total of 48 superior
and deluxe rooms with balconies, 23 superior garden
villas, 34 deluxe pool villas and 3 beautiful suites.
All accommodation has en-suite bathroom, air conditioning,
television with video cable, mini bar, IDD phone, in
room safe, tea and coffee making facilities and hair
dryer. Each deluxe villa and suite has its own private
plunge pool.
 
Awards-winning architect Budiman Hendropurnomo
of Denton Corker Marshall Group combines features of
weathered recycled timbers with modern natural materials
to creature unique interiors rich with character. Old
cart wheels have been fashioned into mirrors frames,
table top were formerly teak railway sleepers and traditional
fish traps and baskets are handcrafted into lamp shades.
Indonesian heritage is represented with an eclectic
collection of antiques in the open plan lobby, the restaurants
and suites. Modern Balinese style is reflected in the
architecture with the use of thatched roofs, blending
the building into the surrounding environment.
Maya Ubud Resort offers a host of recreational and cultural
activities including tennis, swimming, nature treks
and cycling in the beautiful surrounding country side.

cultural performances and perhaps take painting lessons

Wedding dress rental and make up
Western and Balinese dresses are available. The rental includes make up
for bride and groom.
Pre or post wedding spa treatment
Spa treatment is an ideal way for couples to prepare or celebrate the occasion.
Dining
High tea at the wedding venue, strawberry and chocolate basket, lunch, dinner,
buffet dinner.
Decoration, entertainment and floral displays
Corsage, hand bouquet, golf buggy with floral decoration, bamboo xyclophone
rindik with 2 musicians, Balinese orchestra gamelan, Balinese dances with
gamelan orchestra, Balinese welcome dance, quartet with acoustic guitar,
brass and bongo, keyboard and singer.
Photography service
Photos will be taken throughout the ceremony and wedding reception. A souvenir
album will be presented containing 36 prints in 5R size.
Videography service
Video shooting will commence as the bride arrives at the wedding venue and
will cover the entire wedding ceremony and reception. An edited DVD of 35
minutes duration will be presented to the couple. |
